RJB Warranty Policy

WARRANTY

If you feel you have a warranty issue, call 626 6078 immediately.  The warranty may run out tomorrow.  I will need the serial # to check warranty status.  If it's under warranty, I will do everything I can to help you get it replaced.  Shipping and reasonable handling charges will apply.  The following policy is copied from my distributors website.  I cannot do what the distributors will not do, so don't ask.

Product warranties, if any, are provided by the manufacturer or publisher of the Products. R&J Baker Co. makes no warranties, either express, implied or statutory, including but not limited to, the implied warranty of merchantability and the implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, whatsoever. All information is provided to purchaser “as is”. Purchaser understands and acknowledges that products sold by R&J Baker Co. are not to be used for aviation, medical, lifesaving, life-sustaining or nuclear applications.

Any wear and tear to packaging boxes during transit will not qualify for replacement or credit. If the products are physically damaged during shipping, it is the customers' responsibility to call the courier for an inspection immediately. 

Unless otherwise specified, all products are sold with a one year parts & labour warranty against defects in material and workmanship. This warranty does not cover defects caused by misuse or physical damages via shipping or by the customer. There is no implied warranty that the products will fit any particular purpose. R&J Baker Co. will not, whether expressed or implied, be liable for any damages resulting from the use of our products. All warranties are expressed in months (the exception being warranties less than a month, which are expressed in days).

RJB Systems Component Warranty Schedules;
Motherboard's and CPU's = 30 to 36 months *
Hard Drives = 36 to 60 months *
* Varies depending on model
All else = 12 months

WARRANTY RETURNS

Return Authorization must be pre-arranged with R&J Baker Company. Defective products are to be returned to R&J Baker Company freight pre-paid. Any goods returned for warranty that are found to be non-defective (or damaged as a result of misuse including static discharge) will be shipped back to the customer collect.  A service fee of $35 per hour shop time will be applied. R&J Baker will not, whether expressed or implied, be liable for any damages resulting from the use of Our products.

RETURNS

Products may be returned within 21 days of received date provided they are in "As New"condition and undamaged, in original packaging, including all components, cables, software, manuals, etc. If any components are missing, We will have to return the product freight-collect. Returns are subject to a 15% restocking charge.
